Description

Ein stark pastoses, absolut transparentes Gel, das perfekt für seichtes Wasser auf farbigen Böden und speziell für weißes Wasser, Wasserfälle und Gletscher geeignet ist. Transparent Water kann mit Model Air oder Game Color Inks gefärbt werden, die wir wegen ihrer geringen Viskosität und leichten Mischbarkeit empfehlen. Wenn es auf eine nicht poröse Oberfläche aufgetragen wird, kann es nach dem Trocknen abgezogen werden um Wasserfälle oder Eiszapfen zu erstellen.

5 from 5 Gutes Material mit einfacher Handhabung

Kann das Material nur empfehlen. Es ist nicht für tiefes Wasser gemacht, dafür wäre es auch zu teuer. 1-2mm dicke Schichten habe ich damit aber schon oft genutzt und nie Probleme gehabt. Es ist immer vollkommen ausgeklart. Perfekt um Wasserbewegungen zu modellieren, man kann damit auch Wasserfälle und andere Effekte herstellen. Bei Youtube gibt es einige Videos dazu.
Material verliert beim Trocknen etwa 10% Volumen, braucht je nach Ort 1-2 Tage. Lässt sich mit Leim verkleben (Thema Wasserfall) und ist in der Gelform wasserlöslich (ich nutzte Pinsel zum Auftragen). Lässt sich auch, wenn´s mal nicht so wird wie ihr wolltet, je nach Untergrund wieder abziehen. Mit Vallejo Model Colours problemlos bemalbar (wenn man z.B. Gischt darstellen möchte).

Achtung, das entspricht nicht der Wahrheit. Das Gel ist weiß und nicht transparent.
Bereits ab 1mm Dicke ist es bei mir auch nach mehreren Tagen nur weiß ausgehärtet. Nur sehr dünne Bereiche unter 1mm Dicke waren transparent. Es scheint nicht besser zu sein als Holzleim, der transparent aushärtet (vermutlich ist es das auch).
