We from Fantasywelt would like to introduce ourselves, tell you where we come from, who’s behind it, and how things are looking here.

Today Fantasywelt is available online 24/7, and during regular opening hours in our local stores. Our mission is to offer you a wide range of tabletop systems, boardgames, books and accessories in the best quality for a fair price and as quickly as possible. All in all 50 team members  are working in our headquarters in Eckernförde and our local stores to achieve the quickest shipping and best service possible.

Fantasywelt was founded in 2010 in a garage in the beautiful village of Gammelby near Eckernförde. The idea was conceived at a barbecue shortly before. The successful concept grew quicker and quicker, so that founder Jan soon was no longer able to handle carrying all the packages to the post office with his bike (and later small car), and the small garage reached its limits very quickly as well.

This, of course, couldn’t remain like that and the first move to a former pharmacy in Rendsburger Straße 9 in Eckernförde followed soon after. There we could take our next steps. The first employees came aboard and packages were now picked up by DHL directly at the door. However, more and more customers were convinced by our concept of fast shipping for fair prices and after only 1,5 years we had to move again.

Now we were situated in Breslauer Straße 10, also in Eckernförde. Our dynamic team had grown to more than 10 members by this point. The new location finally offered enough space for the store, gaming areas, offices, our warehouse, and the shipping area, the centerpiece of the building.

We have been working here for 5 years now and already had to make modifications to the building, since, slowly but surely, space is running out here as well.

For this reason we are planning an entirely new building, not far from Eckernförde, in Büdelsdorf near Rendsburg, situated directly next to the A7. We will keep our local store in Eckernförde. The new headquarters will consist of a huge warehouse and shipping area, and an office building with an awesome new gaming and sales area.
