Always fighting on the front lines, the Waffen SS was well equipped even as the supply of new materials and weapons became more of a problem for the Third Reich as Allied bombing raids destroyed German industry.

Armed with the best weapons the Wehrmacht could muster, the Waffen-SS fought with discipline and tenacity, though they had little choice, knowing that the enemy would give no quarter to the hated foe - SS troops were brutalized when captured.

Although winter conditions are synonymous with the Eastern Front, troops also desperately needed cold weather gear during operations in the Ardennes and Italy - the Italian winter of 1944 was the coldest in 150 years....

These figures wear a mix of the wool-lined M40 and fur-lined M43 parkas issued to Waffen SS troops - the latter were available in gray, tan, or Italian camouflage patterns.

The figures come unpainted and must be assembled. They are mostly made of metal and/or plastic. Supplied without the soldiers pictured.
