Unsettled® is a series of survival puzzles set in the bizarre and wondrous depths of the cosmos. Each play represents your crew’s visit to a strange world with its own environment, special rules, and challenges to overcome.
The Unsettled game system has two parts: the main framework and planet boxes. The framework features all the non-planet-specific components that will be used in every play. The planet boxes hold everything that makes that planet’s experience unique.
EACH PLANET IS A DIFFERENT VERSION OF THE GAME
The framework is a game system; the planet boxes are cartridges you plug into it to Play.
There is no overarching campaign. Each play is an isolated, standalone experience, and each planet may be played repeatedly. Though, in time, you will begin to think of each play as the next stop on the long, weird journey home.
The goal for Unsettled is to create an experience that goes beyond putting everyone on the same team — one that requires active involvement in each other’s turns, and consideration of what it means to truly work together. Space is hard. Try not to die.
Unsettled® is a cooperative game for 2-4 players with each play lasting ~90min. The Base Framework includes 4 dual layered player boards, the 4 main boards, 4 doubles-sided cheats sheets, rules, and all of the cross-planet tokens and tiles. The Framework also includes the first 2 planets: Planet 001, Planet 002 - Grakkis.
PLANET 001 - WENORA
GET YOUR FUNGAL ON
A bizarre and wondrous fungal jungle teeming with alien vegetation and gargantuan spore-based lifeforms awaits you. Growth in this place is of a scale beyond any you've encountered. Life drips and pulsates disturbingly, mysterious pastes and powders covering most of the planet's crawling surfaces. Simply traversing the land is deeply unnerving, yet awe inspiring all the same. Tentacles, toxic spores and an alarming array of suction cups abound.
Contains roughly 100 cards and the tokens that make up a unique play environment. Planet 001-Wenora is not available individually.
PLANET 002 - GAKKIS
AN ELEVATING EXPERIENCE
Discover the pathways to the skies and escape violent storms and enormous creatures that haunt the surface. Grakkis is a sand-swept desert ruins. What was once a massive planet-wide forest of unfathomably large trees is now that forest's graveyard - all the trees having long since petrified to a stone-like state. Some have crumbled into interesting formations. Some had rotted before petrifying, creating strange caves and crevices, many of them thousands of feet above ground. Colossal alien lifeforms, disturbing in their appearance, wander the wasteland. They tower horrifyingly in the distance like gods in some waking existential nightmare.
