In KeyForge you are an Archont, one of the only natives of the Crucible. This world was built for your species by the enigmatic and treacherous Architects. They have pieced together parts from every planet in the galaxy and brought with them a wide variety of creatures, plants, cultures and technologies from all points of the compass!
Revered by some as a god, you now seek to understand the secrets of your planet. This knowledge lies in countless hidden treasure chambers, which you must find and open with the help of keys. These are forged from Æmber, a precious substance that can be found everywhere in the Crucible. To this end, you have put together a team consisting of three of the Crucible's powerful factions. But you are not alone in your quest for this knowledge and the power that comes with it. Opposing archons across the planet are pursuing the same goal. When two archons fight over the same treasure chamber, conflict is inevitable.
