Istanbul – Choose & Write (DE|EN)

Welcome back to the bazaar of Istanbul!

Once again, the players take on the roles of shrewd merchants whose goal is to get hold of goods and lira and exchange them for valuable rubies. But this time, each player has the bazaar in front of them as their own game board. And the places on it can only be visited a limited number of times. Each player chooses a card on his or her own turn: Place cards allow all merchants to perform the action there or the action of an adjacent place. To leave the other players empty-handed, the players can alternatively play a guild card, whose use they must pay with valuable lira, but whose action is only available to them.

Fans of the Istanbul game series will recognize some locations in Istanbul - Choose & Write, such as the Great Market or the Gem Merchant. However, thanks to the novel mechanism, the visit to the bazaar plays completely differently from previous titles in the series.
