Japanese Special Naval Landing Force

The Japanese Special Naval Landing Forces (SNLF) were the landing forces of the Imperial Japanese Navy.

The first missions of these highly trained and well equipped soldiers, took place during the Sino-Japanese War.
If they ever encountered strong resistance, as in the invasion of Timor and the Battle of Milne Bay in 1942, they never thought of surrendering, even with heavy casualties. If the ammunition was empty, they drew their swords and continued to penetrate the enemy.

This box with plastic and metal parts allows to build 32 Japanese marines. It includes the plastic cast frames of the Japanese infantry, as well as metal parts such as heads for each model (including pith hats) and two new bodies made of metal. The set also includes typical equipment, such as gas masks, swords and pistols, of the Empire's marines. The box is rounded out with a sheet full of fully colored banners and flags.

The figures and kits come unpainted. They are mainly made of plastic.
