The operations of the Imperial army were
coordinated by the Hofkriegsrat (Court War
Council), a presidium advisory body assisting
the emperor. Corps and field divisions
were led by Field Marshals and Generals.
Colonel-inhabers commanded regiments,
although frequently they were commanders
in name only and actual command
was held by Lieutenant-colonels or majors.
Regiments were often divided into two
smaller units, for example for garrison
duties and these detached units were commanded
by Majors or Captains.
This kit is made of metal, is unpainted and needs to be assembled.
