Hogwarts Express

Wind up the model with the special key, turn the chimney that acts as a start/stop switch, and then watch the fascinating movements of the gears, wheels and coupling rods as the locomotive chugs away. On a smooth, flat surface, the Hogwarts™ Express from Ugears can travel 4 metres with tender and carriage, and the locomotive alone 6 metres.

The attractive locomotive can run alone or you can couple two carriages - a coal tender and a passenger carriage. The coal tender is empty, so you can store the key to wind up the train or other small items here.

The locomotive powers the model with its metal spring motor and gears to transmit power to the wheels. It is wound with a special key (there are slots for the key on both the right and left sides of the engine), but make sure the chimney is in the "stop" position beforehand. Once the spring is wound up, hold the model and turn the chimney to the "start position". Then you can let it go and watch the train move off in a straight line. Admire the wheels and push rods of this wonderful train in operation!
