The DUKW is a six-wheel-drive amphibious modification of the ?2 ¹/2-ton CCKW trucks used by the U.S. military during World War II and the Korean War. The name which is rather fitting was derived from manufacturer's code for a type of military wheeled amphibious landing-craft (D means 1942, U means utility (amphibious), K means all-wheel drive, W means 2 powered rear axles). This was the fasted 'truck' at the time with a max speed of 50mph.

This kit is made of MDF, is unpainted and needs to be assembled. Miniatures are not included in the set and are only used for size comparison.
