Crossing perilous waters in their mangrove-wood canoes, the Bullcroak tribes of the western Shattered Spine Islands have, for generations, used the dense jungles of southern Alchiere as their hunting grounds. As the trollkin of the United Kriels migrated from western Immoren to the wild lands of the south, the newly formed Southern Kriels attempted to honor and respect their new neighbors, and in return, they were shown the ways of the wilds and permitted to make their new home among the trackless and untamed territory.

Now the Southern Kriels have found a dauntless ally in the Fire Tongue Warriors, the fiercest fighting traditional role of the Bullcroak tribes. Blending fearsome sorcery with ancient alchemy, the Fire Tongues augment the armies of the Southern Kriels with both might and magic.
